West Hancock boys returned from break for a big matchup against Bishop Garrigan in Britt

Friday’s game didn’t fare well for the Eagles, however.

The Golden Bears used their height advantage to outmatch West Hancock in a 59-41 victory.

The Eagles started out slow in the game, scoring only nine points to Bishop Garrigan’s 20 points.

A second quarter resurgence helped cut the lead down to seven.

Coming out in the third quarter the Eagles were taken out of the game when held to just five points.

The team struggled greatly in making their shots, scoring 12 field goals out of 50 attempts.
