The West Hancock boys basketball team had to play three games in three days due to weather and scheduling issues.

The team managed to fair well with 2-1 record, losing to a talented Bishop Garrigan squad.

On Thursday, they defeated the North Iowa at home 80-48.

Friday was the team’s 63-75 loss to Bishop Garrigan.

Then Saturday the team traveled to Belmond-Klemme to take the 56-30 win.

“I thought they came out and were pretty well locked in,” coach Brian Peterson said.

The team didn’t show any signs of being off against North Iowa despite the numerous days off from school and practice.

The team continued on into the next two games, keeping Bishop Garrigan within two possessions for a majority of Saturday’s game.
