West Hancock boys track and field competes at home and at TICs

            The West Hancock boys track team held another home meet on Apr. 29 and then went across the way to Garner for the Top of Iowa Conference meet on Thursday. 

            The boys took a third place spot in front of the home crowd with 96.5 team points.

            They’d place fifth in the conference with 50 points.

            Josef Smith took first place in the 110-meter hurdle in Britt, running a time of 15 flat.

            He’d continue his dominance at hurdles with a 57.46 400-meter hurdle time.

            Smith had a third first place win in front of the home crowd, jumping 21-3 in the long jump.
