Two WH girls’ track events to compete at State

            Two events move forward for the West Hancock girls’ track team.

            The Eagles competed at the Top of Iowa Conference meet in Lake Mills on May 7 and at the District track meet in Nashua-Plainfield on Thursday.

            Emily Ryerson in the 100-meter event and the shuttle hurdle relay will represent West Hancock at the State meet.

            To start the week, the girls competed and took seventh at the conference meet in Lake Mills.

            Sydney Burgardt took second in the high jump clearing 4-9.

            Madison Eisenman secured second at shot put with a distance of 32-10
