Eight Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) units were presented to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department. Each county patrol vehicle will be equipped with a device.

The funding for the defibrillators ($1,500 each) was a joint effort of the Sheriff’s Department, Hancock County EMS Association, and Hancock County Public Health.
