North Iowa Designs chosen for Small Business of the Month Award

GARNER - Danielle Goll, owner, North Iowa Designs, Garner, is the winner of the SBDC’s statewide Business of the Month Award. A certificate

North Iowa Designs provides graphic design, custom printing, promotional items, office supplies, home decor, jewelry, printed clothing, and more. The company employs an all-female staff of five full-and part-time employees.

Goll recently added a large format printer that will do print signs and banners up to 2 feet by 100 feet in length.

The company and its owner are very active in the Garner Chamber of Commerce and community events, helping other businesses to promote themselves and regularly promoting the community. Goll joined the Pappajohn Advisory Board in February.

Dan Winegarden, Director of the North Iowa Business Incubator at NIACC, indicated that her prior business experience and willingness to help other small business entrepreneurs has been invaluable.

Brook Boehmler, Director of the North Iowa Area SBDC, stated, “Danielle definitely deserves this recognition. She worked very diligently to make her business a reality and continues to improve it daily. She has led the way in the Garner main street, helping other businesses and supporting local charity events. She has helped many area people realize their dreams of opening their own businesses and willingly gives back to her community.”
