Eagles boys track look strong in second place finish

            The West Hancock boys track team ran at the 2019 Gerry Lenguadoro Cadet Relays hosted by Iowa Falls-Alden on April 9.

            The Eagles weren’t able to top the home team, but they still landed in the second place spot with a 128 team points; well ahead of the team below them.

            The team would place first in five events that day.

Boys 100 Meter Dash Varsity

            1st place: Gavin Becker – 11.72

            4th place: Lucas Weiland – 12.16

Boys 110 Meter Hurdles Varsity

            1st place: Josef Smith – 15.64

            3rd place: Gavin Becker – 16.57

Boys 200 Meter Dash Varsity

            2nd place: Lucas Weiland – 24.22

            7th place: West Hancock – 25.16
